Purpose

Calm your nervous system quickly

How It Works

Stress pulls your mind into the future or the past.
Grounding brings you back to the present
where God meets you.

Practice

Name aloud:

. 5 things you can see
. 4 things you can touch
· 3 things you can hear
. 2 things you can smell
. 1 thing you can thank God for

Tool 2

Scripture Breathing

Purpose :

Slow your breathing and anchor your thoughts

Scripture

In Him we live and move and have our being." - Acts 17:28

How it works:

Breathing regulates your nervous system.
Pairing breath with Scripture resets your mind
and spirit.

Practice

Breathe in: "Lord, You are with me." Breathe out: "Your peace fills me." Repeat for 1-2 minutes

The Stress Inventory

Purpose:

Identify what's draining your energy

. Take three slow breaths

. What is a more truthful thought?

Purpose:

Resilience grows when three areas are supported :

. Meaning – What purpose guides you?
